Keeping Beat with New York Fashion Week: Natalie Off Duty

What better way to rock New York Fashion Week than with red lips and a killer playlist? When it comes to keeping in step with the latest fashions and trends, model/style influencer/blogger Natalie Suarez (of Natalie Off Duty) fame a rhythm all her own that includes a scarlet smile and enough tunes to keep her pumped no matter what time zone she finds herself in. And with an upcoming trip to London on the horizon, we couldn’t resist asking her about her must-have beauty and music essentials when she recently stopped by our showroom for a quick visit.

We know you love music - what’s currently on heavy rotation?

Natalie: I like spotify. I like to listen to an artist album; the last album I played was Fleetwood Mac. I [also] have a West Coast playlist that has Florence and The Machine and The Shins.

Have a recent “Luxe” moment?

Natalie: Riding my bike through the park and people watching and getting my nails done. I like all of the really dark nail colors for fall, [especially] dark purples.

So what’s in your bag right now?

Natalie: A makeup bag and I always have my toothbrush. Can’t leave home without my toothbrush!

We hear you’re going to London soon. If you could go anywhere else in the world where would it be?

Natalie: Paris or Bali
